Located in the little village of Saint-Mathieu, 400 meters
of small traders (butcher, postal office, supermarket,
baker, restaurants), our large cottage is offering high
level of comfort and is easy to reach by car or by plane
(Limoges Bellegarde Airport).
"Les Grands Marronniers" is an ideal spot for family
holidays (12 people can be lodged). The rich and
varied heritage, both natural and cultural, allows you to
see, discover and feel this lovely part of France.
You will spend a quiet stay and
can use cultural
and sports activities in the near area : hiking,
cycle riding, fishing, castles, museums…

‘Les Grands Marronniers’ Gite is an
entirely renovated house, ideal for get-togethers
in France between families or friends,
Besides the comfort, decoration and
functionality of the house, it also offers peace
and quiet in it’s 700 m2 garden and it’s private,
secure swimming pool, with parasols and deckchairs
provided.
The house is situated in the little
village of St Mathieu, 400 m from the shops
(supermarket) and 2 km from a 33 hectare leisure
lake.
The Gite can accommodate up to 12
people, with 5 bedrooms, 3 shower-rooms (a large
shower, toilet, & sink on each floor), a large
dining room with seating for 14 people, living room
and wood burner.
The kitchen is fully fitted, with
fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, tumble dryer,
washing machine, dishwasher, electric hob and a 3
ring gas hob.
From the kitchen and dining room you
access the patio, where there are 2 tables and 8
chairs. At the lower part of the patio, under a
canopy, there is a large shaded table for up to 15
people, with 18 chairs.
The salt-water swimming pool (12.5m x
5m) has a paddling pool for children. The pool is
entirely closed in, and also has 2 alarms on the
edges to detect any falls into the pool.
The 700m2 garden allows
children to play in full security, as the whole
area is entirely fenced.
